2009-10 RB FOOTBALL CARDS NOW AVAILABLE! Saturday, June 20th was the annual "Blitz" day. The football teams as well as cheerleaders and poms showed up at the stadim to receive their fundraising cards. Athletes had from 11:00am - 2:00pm to sell the cards. Many returned at 2:00 having sold all the cards they were given. This year's card is $20.00 and includes 3 key tags worth over $50.00 in pizza deals! The cards can be used over and over again until June 30, 2010. There are 15 local businesses offering discounts on the card. Click here to see offers. Congratulations to the happy couple! 2009 YEAR OF THE TRANSFORMERS! Football Camp is underway at The Max! On the first day, 57 Varsity players showed up at 6:30 am to begin intensive workouts to ready themselves for the 2009 season. Updates will be posted all summer as the Bulldogs "transform"! Suburban Life All Area Team Congrats to Will Lusthoff, Matt Kenehan, Peter Szumski, and Billy VandeMerkt for making the Suburban Life All Area Football Team The Dogs to invade Glen Ellyn! On Halloween night (Friday) the Bulldogs will take on the Glenbard South Raiders at 7 p.m. The Raiders finished the regular season with a 7-2 record. It will be a great battle of two former SPC foes. Don't forget to wear your Wizard of Oz costumes to the game to celebrate Halloween and the "Return to OZ". See you on Friday night and GO DOGS!! Tickets for Friday's game will be on sale at RB for $4 Dogs beat Ridgewood 27-0 on Senior night! After a 1 hour lightening delay, the R-B Bulldogs complete an undefeated conference season. Defense pitches its third shutout of the season, and second consecutive. Offense struggled at times, but came through when needed. Billy VandeMerkt threw four touchdowns, two of them to Will Lusthoff. The defense was highlighted by Senior DL Nick Marra's 57 yard interception return, to set up the Dog's third touchdown. With the win, R-B clinches its 8th playoff birth in the last 9 years. The Bulldogs will find out Saturday night who their first round opponent will be in the IHSA 6A playoffs. Stay tuned as their journey down the yellow brick road continues! DOGS SMASH BISON 63-19.
